Tische, tables & plus, 18 th- 21st century

Discover unlimited variations and diversity of tables in this themed exhibition. Alongside chairs and beds, tables are the most important piece of furniture in the home, it's a meeting point. Some of the tables on display and refurbished in the rooms date back four centuries and can be attributed to designers, different uses or old customs. The central theme is framed by pictures, lamps, art and collector's items. Three temporary exhibitions with contemporary artists also give space to contemporary art in the small vault for three to four weeks at a time.
